Mike Toomey Texas News: Governor Perry Announces Staff Change

On Monday August 12th, Governor Rick Perry announced a major change of staff. Governor Perry named Kathy Walt as Chief of Staff, and Jonathan Taylor as Director of the EDT (Economic Development and Tourism Division). The Senior Advisor position will be filled by Aaron Demerson. Kathy Walt has previously served as head manager for governmental issues for the Colorado River Authority. Jonathan Taylor has served recently at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles as Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office. Aaron Demerson has been with the Economic Development and Tourism Division since 2003. The new staff is all very experienced in different ways.
